The meeting of the Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian with Mr. Davor Ivo Stier, the Chairman of the Croatia-Armenia Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group of the Croatian Parliament

On February 3, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian had a video-meeting with Davor Ivo Stier, the Chairman of the newly created Croatia-Armenia Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group of the Croatian Parliament (Sabor). The parties confirmed the importance of strengthening the relations between the two friendly countries and discussed the prospects of development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Ambassador presented the details and consequences of the aggression by the Azerbaijan and Turkey against Artsakh, the steps that are being undertaken to address the humanitarian crisis and the need to restore the Nagorno Karabakh peace process in the framework of the Co-Chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group. Ambassador also stressed the imperative of the immediate return of the Armenian prisoners of war.
